Below is a list of categories that you can enter your site in:

Best New Site
In order to be in this category, your site must be 3 months old or younger.

Best Middle-Aged Site
3-9 months of age will qualify your site for this category.

Best Veteran Site
Your site must be 9 months or older to be nominated for Best Veteran Site. You know what's funny: I'm typing this on Veteran's Day. =)

Best Character/Person Shrine
Category for sites dedicated to an actor/actress who plays in the Harry Potter movies OR for sites that are dedicated to a character or many characters.

Best Information
Simple as its title, this is for sites that have the best Harry Potter information on the net.

Best News Site
Category for sites that have the most updated and best Harry Potter news out there.

Best Original Content
This is the category that I, Matthew, feel is one of the most prestigous to even make the top five in. Original content is what defines a site: Without it, success is out of sight. With it, however, success is a never-ending possibility. If you copied and pasted your content from somewhere else, don't nominate yourself in this category.

Best Webmaster
Are you a webmaster that has slaved away at your website? Then this is definitely the category for you. The winner will be interviewed via e-mail or AIM, and the Q&A will go online.

Best Harry Potter Site
Category for the best Harry Potter sites that exist.

Best Layout
Category for sites with amazing layouts.

Best Name
If your site has a wonderful name, then nominate yourself in this category. Site name and slogan will be taken into account for this category.


There are no other categories that you can submit your site in, but there is one judge-decided category:

Best Overall HP Site
Every site that is nominated will be looked at for this category, so there is no need to nominate yourself for it. This will be given to what the judges feel is the best site out of the nominees. Best Original Content is one of the most prestigous categories, but this category takes the prestige cake. =)
