Biography: Warwick Davis was born on February 3, 1970 in Epsom, Surrey, England, UK. He got his first movie role when he was 11 years old in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi." His grandmother had heard an announcement about a casting call for the movie and thought Warwick was perfect for the movie. He was cast as an extra, but quickly caught the attention of the cast and director of the movie. Warwick recieved his big break when the actor hired to play the part of Wicket, became ill. George Lucas, the director, knew of Warwick's talents and chose him to take over the role. Warwick later worked with Lucas again on the movie "Labyrinth." In 1987, Warwick was cast as the lead in "Willow." This changed his career significantly, but also changed his life. He met his future wife, Samantha Burroughs, on the set of the movie. Warwick has starred in many other movies, such as "Leprechaun," but will be always be known for his role in the "Star Wars" movies.
