Order of the Phoenix Casting Rumors:
Julianne Nicholson - Lily Potter
The Rumor: Italian magazine "Ciak" reported in their March 2005 issue that American actress Julianne Nicholson was cast as Lily Potter in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. "Ciak" said that that a Warner Bros. spokesman informed them that Director David Yates was "considering" casting her as Lily Potter during one scene. WB debunked this rumor several days after it surfaced.
The Woman: Julianne Nicholson was born in Medford, Massachusetts in 1971. She modeled in New York and Paris for a year following high school graduation, and then spent two years in college. Her favorite activities include rock climbing, reading, and hiking. Nicholson has appeared in The Love Letter (1999) and as Jenny Shaw in the "Ally McBeal" television series.
